Sentimental Sundays #180 - Warm & Cozy

These weeks are just whizzing by and this week's Sentimental Sundays challenge is spot on with the weather here... Last week I was sharing how much I enjoyed the Fall and this week I'm thankful for warm bathrobes, fuzzy slippers and a fireplace that's ready when I am!

This week's Sponsor is:
Donating: 5 images, winners choice
This week's challenge is:
Warm and Cozy
(plus a sentiment)

(Did I mention that Sentimental Sundays is having a Design Team call? Get all of the deets HERE.)

This week I needed an image with a scarf and although this image isn't wintry, I think she is adorable! Mayzy's Digi Dancer - Line Dance gives warm fuzzies!

I am loving all the Thank You cards out in blog world! The holidays help people remember to express their gratitude and I have lots to be grateful for, too. I'm always in need of another card...

Have you been playing along with any of the gratitude memes? This year I've been keeping it close to home with a project that the family is helping with. Check back later this week to see it!

This cowgirl is layered up! She's moving and I wanted to make sure she didn't look flat. I fussy cut her head and used foam to lift up the tails of her braids. And how could I not lift her boot and keep her kickin'?!

Alright...it's your turn!

Sentimental Sundays #159 - Sprays & Mists Sponsored by Mayzy Arts

I'm beginning to feel a bit like the white rabbit!

"I'm late for a very important date!"

Our cross country move has wrecked havoc with my creative schedule! Not only have I had to put away all but the basic of art supplies, but then the lack of internet prevented me from sharing what I did make.

Sigh.
Rant over.

This card was created for the Sentimental Sundays Sprays and Mists Challenge sponsored by the whimsical Mayzy Arts!

Is this not the cutest steampunk image? She's not for the hardcore, but she's a darling! And I love her. Steampunk Meri is great to color. You can art her up or dress her down. Your choice.

Copics Used:
Hair: E23, E81, E89
Skin: E000, E00, E11, R20, R89
Eyes: YG03, BV34, V20
Clothes: E23, E37, E81, E84, R21, R85, V09, RV09
Guns: E84, N2, YG03

Sprays and mists. Some of my most favorite art supplies evah. Buy them. Make them. Use them. One of these days I will schedule time to show how to make this type of background. The shimmer patterns remind me of marbling. Gorgeous faux texture, color mixes & glimmer!

My youngest daughter helped me make background papers while we took a break from packing boxes. She made over 15 sheets for me to use in about 20 minutes! She did a great job, right?

I better get back to catching up on emails...

Inky hugs,
Angi
