Early...late...it's all a matter of perspective, right? It's 0315. As in o'dark. Started a project after the kids went to bed and lost track of time. Probably didn't help that I forgot to change my clocks in my studio for Daylight Savings...ah well. I did get quite a few things accomplished. Want to see?
Another episode of What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday! (Even though it's really Thursday...
*lol I was reading over my post and saw "Thursday"...I must really be tired if I gave up a day!* and a month later) Want to know more? Check out our hostess Julia Dunnit and join in the fun

I participate in 2 card groups every month. Right now, that means 15+ cards every 30 days. I love the challenge and the rewards of playing along, but some months it's harder to get my act together and get them all finished on time. Still behind 2 cards in one of the groups. Here's what's on the desk as I type...well, sorta. I took this photo when I first started...
The card standing up by the light is one I worked up for my class from last week. It was a great time of playing with inks, misters and perfect pearls... and some of my new Tim Holtz stamps. Great group of gals sharing tips and ideas and being creative. I'll post some of the tags we made later this week...after I get some sleep!
Love the Papillon set...butterflies and Paris...sound so good right now...even if the butterflies aren't out in Paris just yet! Speaking of Paris...when I picked up the kids from school today, I asked them what they wanted to do this weekend besides go to the pool (they
always want to go to the pool) and Jonny piped up with "Go out and eat!" Gloria added a noncommittal "Doesn't matter to me." and Evie says in her 'oh-so-cute' French accent, "Let's go to Par-eee, Mom-eee!"
So what else is on the desk? Parts and pieces of my cards for this month. I really like the collage stamp in this set and Dusty Concord is calling my name again, so we went with it! Paint daubers, vellum, embossing powder, mists and glitter! Really...all of the above.
The pile on top of the pink drawers is my 'clean-up' pile of tags and scraps. Whenever I use mists (or water and Distress Inks) I wipe up the leftovers with tags or white panels to be used on future projects.
Peeking out from under the collage stamp are my used baby wipes. Yep, you read me right. I use those for handmade flowers. Love to recycle and upcycle! One day I may let you peek at my stash of things to alter...
Alright, I'm really feeling the lack of sleep now, so one more picture before I go...here's the card from class.
Using the Tim Holtz Papillon set, fussy cut the butterflies and 'painted' them with the new Confections Perfect pearls (gorgeous IRL!) a Tattered Angels frame that I inked and glittered and thrift store ribbon. By the way, you should see my latest thrift store finds...maybe you will...after a few days of sleep.
Thanks for stopping by!
