Lawn Fawn Hearts Cards for Kids Blog Hop!

Hello and welcome to the Lawn Fawn Hearts Cards for Kids Blog Hop! We have all come together today to make cards for a wonderful cause, Cards for Kids! We hope to encourage you to also make cards for this great cause and have fun along the way, too! So please hop along with us, and make sure to leave comments as there will be prizes for commenters and participants! So let's get going! Also, if you are lost in the hop, you can always start at the beginning at the Lawn Fawn blog. Thank you so much for hopping along with us today!

WOW! If you made it this far, you sure are dedicated! :)  Or in my case, I just can't get enough eye candy when it comes to cards. Sigh...so many blogs, not enough time!

Cards for Kids is a lovely way to help uplift these children and their families. Stop HERE to find out more about them and how you can help bring them smiles!

If you found your way here from Deb's blog, you're on the right track! If you're lost, scroll down to the bottom of this post to get your bearings - wouldn't want you to miss any of the fun!

So without much ado, here's one of mine...

If you were just flying by to see the card - done! Thanks for stopping by!

Your next stop is the lovely Stephanie!

If you're interested in a little more info about my project, read on! It was pretty simple, really. Well, after I made the first one the rest were easy! I love the saying, "there are no mistakes, only embellishment opportunities!" That was the case here.

I had the concept of this card in my head for awhile. I liked the concept so much that I decided to make 10 of these cards. Finally got around to gathering my supplies and made this card while watching a movie with the family...mostly in the dark!

Turned the lights on, only to discover the acrylic block I had been using to stamp the tree had transferred brown ink from the corner of the block to the middle of my card! Ugh!

It was too late to design another card. Luckily for me, the sentiment I had chosen fit that oval punch!

In case you're wondering why there are no adorable Lawn Fawn stamps on my project, it's because I don't own any, yet! I happened upon the Lawn Fawn blog through Jennifer McGuire's blog just in time to sign up for the blog hop. Coincidence?! ;) I think not! (there's a link to their site at the top of this post!)

And because I like to give credit where credit is due...

Stamps: Family Leaves Promo (Inque Boutique), Trendy Trees (Stampin' Up!)
Cardstock/Paper: green and yellow scraps, Whisper White, Crumb Cake (SU!)
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Whisper White (SU!) Wild Honey (TH Distress Ink)

Thanks, again for spending part of your day with me! Hope to see you again soon!

Hugs,
Angi
